Why do we sleep at NIGHT and not during the DAY?

Hey! welcome to my blog. Our Question is Why do we sleep at NIGHT and not during Day time?

Sleeping is actually very common Everybody does that - from old to young People sometimes sleep in the Daytime also but most often during the Night time But why so.....?  Just because it's DARK ? Then why do we sleep only if it's DARK?

Here is the Answer "MELATONIN" Melatonin is a hormone secreted by Pineal Gland which is a small Endocrine gland in the center of our Brain The secretion of this hormone in large amounts will make you feel sleep by ~ Reducing your body temperatue ~ also Reducing your Breathing rate This Melatonin production is increased when our Retina senses the ABSENCE OF LIGHT.

So it's not like sleeping only during the night But during the Dark-time But ' MOSTLY ' NIGHT Because not only it's dark But this hormone is connected to our Circadian Rhythm Circadian Rhythm is nothing but our Body CLOCK So these are the reasons that make you sleep mostly at Night and not in the day Let me ask you a question "WHAT IS THE LAST THING YOU DO BEFORE SLEEPING?" Yawning ? Yeah! sometimes you do it But why do we Yawn ?
